Privacy Policy

Last updated: [to be completed on the go-live date]

This page explains how the Mane app handles your data. It is published by [Name / sole proprietorship — to be completed], business ID [to be completed], contact: mane.contact.app@gmail.com.

At Mane, we keep it simple and honest: the app is built to work without an account and to keep most of your data on your phone. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and with whom.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is [Name / sole proprietorship — to be completed]. For any question about your data, write to us at mane.contact.app@gmail.com.

The data we process

Mane does not ask you to create an account, does not collect your name or email address in the app, and does not use your data for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Most of your data (profile, history, preferences) stays on your phone and is not sent to a central server. It disappears if you delete the app or reset your data in the app settings.

The providers that help us

To power the AI and payments, we rely on third-party providers, to whom some data may be transmitted for the sole purpose of delivering the service:

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. Where that is the case, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep your data

Photos sent for analysis are kept only as long as needed to process them and return a result to you. Data stored on your device is kept until you delete it. Subscription data is kept for as long as required by our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. The most direct way to erase your personal data in the app is to reset your data from the settings, or delete the app. For any request, contact us at mane.contact.app@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Minors

Mane is not intended for children under 15 and does not knowingly collect their data.
